An elderly woman is being treated for smoke inhalation at St James' Hospital after she was rescued from a large blaze in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Four units of the Dublin Fire Brigade were deployed to the scene of the fire in a building on Upper Kevin Street.
A woman in her 70s was taken from a balcony by gardai, one of whom was treated for minor injuries.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire, and a full Garda investigation is underway.
