A new email scam hitting Irish inboxes is offering a refund from phone provider Eir.
The email looks like it comes direct from Eir, but asks you to login to your account to receive a refund of €72.99.
Some people who are not customers of Eir have been getting the email.
Eir is aware of the scam and is advising people to never click links they receive in emails that they are unsure of and to immediately mark the email as spam.
