A plan to develop an urban beach in Dun Laoghaire has been appealed to an Bord Pleanala.
It was approved by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Co. Council at the end of November.
The project at the East Pier includes an artificial beach, cafe, and a floating swimming pool.
It's to be jointly funded by the council and Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company at a cost of 2 and a half million euro.
