A friendly village will be set up on O'Connell Street to highlight Dublin's bid to become a city of culture in 2020.
The 10th Culture Night is taking place in Dublin this evening.
3,000 events will take place in 1,500 venues in towns and cities across the country.
All of the events are free of charge and are aimed at people of all ages.
