A ceremonial changing of the Guard will take place in Merrion Square later to remember members of the Defence Forces who have died in service.
It's the first in a series of 6 services taking place at the National Memorial every Saturday at midday until the 22nd of August.
The events are open to the public and Commandant Sean O'Fatharta says each ceremony will be conducted by different units of the Defence Forces:
