Dublin students are less likely to get college grants than students from border counties.
That's according to figures from student support service SUSI.
68% of students from Cavan, 67% from Monaghan and 66% from Donegal qualified for grants, in the 2013/2014 academic year.
While in Dublin, 44% of CAO grant applications were successful, with 47% in Kildare and just under 48% in Meath.
