A large group of protesters belonging to Dublin's skateboarding community gathered in the Temple Bar area yesterday evening.
It's understood the demonstration was in relation to an alleged assault that took place on Monday night.
Protestors claim two teenagers were involved in an altercation with security guards working in the area.
Gardai are investigating the allegation of assault and attended the protest yesterday evening.
The crowd called on those involved to apologise.
