A Dublin mother of two has been living in emergency accommodation since April.
Amy McCallorum is living in a hotel with her young son and daughter.
She says that her situation has made her feel helpless. She added that although she's lucky to have a roof over her head, it's no substitute for a home.
"Last night I drove home and i cried on the way home because it wasn't my home, and the children kept saying to me, 'why are we going here'. Its not fair on them. they deserve a house."
