Dublin is cleaning up its act.

The latest Irish Business Against Litter Survey shows an improvement in litter levels across the city.

It shows that Swords, Dun Laoghaire and the area around Dublin Airport all litter-free, which is an improvement on previous years.

However Tallaght and the City Centre were described as moderately littered.

O'Connell St and Grafton St got the top clenliness ranking but Amiens Street was described as being in a terrible condition.

Once again the north innner city was singled out for criticism.

It was described as seriously littered although that is still 30 percent better than previous surveys.

Sheriff St, Poplar Row and Buckingham St were particularly bad and the area around Seville Place was slammed as a litter blackspot.
