According to their findings, Dublin 8 is one to watch over the next five years.
Originally reported in the Irish Times, it's one of five areas in the world to see big increases in house prices.
Over the next five years, Knight Frank predict Dublin 8 properties will increase by 15 to 20 per cent in value.
There were several reasons given in the report as to why Dublin 8 was chosen.
Food and drink options were one, as well as cultural venues, tourist amenities and shops.
The development of the National Children’s Hospital is also cited as a reason.
The other areas on the list include Qianhai in Shenzhen, China, and Montegancedo in Madrid, Spain.
Paris’s 1st arrondissement, home to the Louvre, and Stokes Croft in Bristol, UK, round out the top five.
