Drone users are being warned to get proper training in order to safely operate their drones.

A number of people are currently being prosecuted for the improper use of drones.

People have been using drones to film aerial footage, which is illegal.

There are more than 4000 drones in use in Ireland, 80 of those are used commercially.

Drones have many uses, such as delivering emergency medical supplies and going into burning buildings for fire crews.

Director of Safety Regulation at the Aviation Authority, Ralph James, has said that drones should not be flying over 400 feet in the air.

People should also "stay within the line of sight of your drone and stay outside of airports".
