There's been an explosion in the centre of Thailand's capital, Bangkok.
A senior police officer in the city is being quoted as saying it was caused by a bomb.
There are reports at least fifteen people have been killed and around 80 wounded.
The attack is believed to have been carried on the back of a motorbike before it exploded outside a Hindu shrine.
There are reports that police are now investigating a second suspicious device.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's not aware of any Irish casualties.
