The 95th annual Liffey swim kicks off at lunchtime with the swimmers battling it out down the 2.2 kilometer course to the Custom House.
252 men and 109 women will be racing down the course to the Custom House.
Swimmers of all ages are taking part in the event.
Lord Mayor Christy Burke will start the race.
The men's race starts at 1:15 while the women's race is at 2:15.
