A 28 year old man is due to be sentenced this morning for the manslaughter of Daniel McAnapsie.
The Finglas teenager went missing seven years ago while in the care of the State.
Daniel McAnaspie’s badly decomposed body was found in a ditch in May 2010, three months after he disappeared.
The 17 year old was last seen drinking in the company of two men in Tolka Valley Park in Blanchardstown.
A post mortem showed he had been stabbed multiple times.
Earlier this month, 30 year old Richard Dekker of Dublin 15 was sentenced to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of Daniel’s murder.
28 year old Trevor Noone also of Dublin 15 pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter and is due to be sentenced this morning.
