The DAA is warning of a number of scams on Facebook claiming that some lost luggage is for sale at Dublin Airport.

A number of accounts have appeared online.

One of this very realistic accounts on Facebook claims that every 3 months the  warehouse at Dublin Airport overflows and they have to sell luggage they can't return.

It claims the luggage and all its contents are only 2 euro.

It even has plenty of comments underneath with apparent happy customers and some pretend questions from potential buyers.

But the DAA says there is no such thing as 'lost luggage sales' and is urging people not to engage with these accounts.

It says these accounts have no association with Dublin Airport and is asking people to report them to Meta.
