Cuts Mean Students Miss Out On Counselling

Teenage pupils are suffering from cutbacks in school counselling services introduced in September 2012.

Guidance counselors are now spending only 41 per cent of their time, one-on-one with students.

According to the Irish Independent it's a further drop on last years figure, which was 49 percent.

It comes as students prepare to fill in their CAO forms for college places.
