Events will take place in Dublin, Cork and Galway later in solidarity with the victims.
The French Ambassador is expected to attend the march through the streets of Dublin. The congregation will meet at the Spire at 12 and walk in silence to Leinster House via D'olier street.
In Cork, a silent vigil will be held at noon in Daunt Square, while people will gather at the Spanish Arch in Galway at the same time.
