One lucky Lotto player in Galway is waking up €500,000 richer this morning after scooping the EuroMillions Plus top prize.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Thursday March 30th, the day before the draw at the Siopa Dowd Esso Service Station in the heart of the Gaeltacht in Carna, Connemara in County Galway.
At a cost of just €1 extra per line, the EuroMillions Plus draw gives players an extra chance to win €500,000.
The National Lottery advises players to check their tickets and if they find they're the lucky ticket holder, sign the back and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.
