Residents living near the proposed new National Childrens Hospital are planning to lodge several objections to its construction over concerns about the project at St. James Hospital.
Up to 100 reps from residents associations attended a public meeting about the building of the facility.
They fear a dramatic increase in traffic congestion, parking problems and pollution if it gets the go ahead.
They are also worries about the height of the building, the use of a helipad and how tunnelling might affect homes.
The meeting was organsied by the new Childrens Hospital Alliance who wants the hospital to be moved to a site off the M50 at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
The hospital has yet to get planning permission.
