A court has heard how a man stalked his neighbour and shared a picture of her toddler son online alongside an extremely violent comment.
Mark Mulligan of Railway Road, Clongriffin is already in jail for harassing and threatening to kill a former workmate.
In 2006, Mark Mulligan began bombarding his neighbour with inappropriate text messages and e-mails.
The harassment escalated over the next two years and he began stalking her when she stopped replying to him.
Last year, a laptop and USB storage devices were seized from his home and a forensic examination uncovered three child abuse images.
A Skype conversation with an unidentified user also revealed a photo of his victim's three year old boy with the message:
" I would love to rape and destroy my neighbour's son. She pissed me off a while back".
Today, the court heard Mulligan is serving a three year jail term for harassing and threatening to kill a former colleague as part of what he described as a "rape fantasy".
He sent her a letter with three images.
The first was taken from her Facebook page and the others were of a dismembered doll and a hanged woman.
The 39 year old will be sentenced on the more recent charges next week.
