Thousands are expected on O’Connell Street later to watch the lighting of the city’s main Christmas tree.
The event kicks off at 3.30 and the Lord Mayor Christy Burke, helped by Ashleigh Kiernan from the Make A Wish Foundation will flick the switch at 6.
