School children say they are smoking and drinking less - and eating more fruit and vegetables and fewer sweets.
The Irish Health Behaviour report on school-aged children for 2014 shows 58% of children surveyed had never had a drink, compared with 52% in 2010.
While the proportion of those who had smoked a cigarette fell from 28% in 2010 to just 16% last year.
