The Central Bank has been accused of taking the biscuit with its latest food bill.
According to today's Sunday Business Post 55,000 Euro was spent by the bank last year on biscuits.
The total is part of a sweet deal for staff which sees their food, tea, coffee and refreshments subsidised to the tune of over a million Euro.
Banks bosses says the treats are also snapped up at seminars and meetings as well as press conferences and briefings.
