Gardai investigating a violent carjacking in Ballsbridge have found the stolen Ford Focus.
A woman in her 50s was beaten as she tried to stop her car from being taken yesterday afternoon.
The victim of this carjacking was knocked out after hitting her head during a struggle with one of the people who stole her car.
It happened after she pulled into her apartment complex on Serpentine Avenue in Ballsbridge at around 2pm yesterday.
The car sped off in towards Merrion Road and she was taken to hospital where she's said to be in a stable condition this afternoon.
No arrests have yet been made but the car, a grey Ford Focus registration 03D55722 was found this morning in the Kevin Street area of the city.
Gardai say their investigations are ongoing and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
