Anti water charge campaigners say they are launching a counter-offensive against Irish Water bills.
The new company began sending out 1.5 million bills to householders yesterday.
The We Won't Pay group are meeting outside the utility's headquarters in Dublin this morning.
TDs Ruth Coppinger, Paul Murphy and Joe Higgins are calling for nationwide street meetings in communities around the country, encouraging people to not pay their bills.
