There are calls for more bins nationwide after huge amounts of litter were left behind following scenes of crowds in Dublin and other cities this weekend.
A major clean up operation took place yesterday in the capital as a result.
However, the Irish Business Against Litter group believes a move like this is not the answer.
Spokesperson Conor Horgan says more public bins just leads to people using them to dump their household waste.
As the cost of waste collection increases, Horgan says more bins will see people trying to evade the rising charges.
