The organisation representing ambulance personnel is calling for better communication between the Ambulance Service and the Dublin Fire Brigade following a critical review by the health watchdog HIQA.
It found a lack of coordination and communication between the partners who provide ambulance services in Dublin.
HIQA said arrangements between the ambulance service and fire brigade need greater quality assurance and accountability controls.
