Parents in the west of the city want delivery times for local shopping centres to be changed after two children were knocked down in Ongar.
A 5 year old boy is fighting for his life and his 7 year old sister was also injured after a collision with a truck in the village on Tuesday. They had been walking to school with their mum at the time.
Locals have told the Herald it was an accident waiting to happen, and that restrictions on trucks should be put in place during school hours.
