Brussels Still On Lockdown After 'Paris Style' Threat

People living in Brussels are being told not to leave their homes over fear of a Paris style terror attack.

The Belgian government's raised the terror threat alert to its highest possible level.

Irish people in the country are being advised to register with the Department of Foreign Affairs here - in case of any difficulties.

The Department has issued an updated travel notice - which is available on www.DFA.ie.

Belgium's Foreign Affairs Minister Didier Reynders says it was necessary to act:
