For some, this could make a shopping trip more appealing; Brown Thomas has been granted a full drinks licence.
Until now, the high-end department store could only serve wine and champagne in its restaurant. From April, it will now also offer a range of premium cocktails.
In applying to the Circuit Court last month, store owners had quipped that the full drinks menu could "anaesthetise" those waiting on their other halves, before seeing the shopping bill.
A spokesperson for the Grafton Street store has told 98FM News the new drinks menu will be offered from after Easter.
The decision to apply for the licence was taken following customer demand.
