Beer, vodka and cigarettes worth almost €4000 have been seized at Dublin Port. They were found hidden in compartments under a truck that came from Poland through Holyhead.
The discovery was made on Friday when customs officers stopped and searched a truck carrying mixed goods from Poland, for delivery to various locations across Ireland.
Revenue is asking any businesses or members of the public that have any information regarding the smuggling or sale of illegal cigarettes or tobacco to contact Revenue in confidence on 1800 295 295.
