A man in his 20s is due in court this morning after a drug seizure and a bomb scare in Ballymun last night.
At around 8pm Gardai were carrying out a planned search of a house in Wood Hazel Terrace where the found 3000 euro worth of heroin.
During the operation they also discovered a pipe bomb.
The bomb squad was alerted and arrived at the scene just after 9pm and homes in the area evacuated.
The viable device was made safe without a controlled explosion and the parts are being handed over to gardai for their investigations.
