A number of new baby animals have been welcomed into the world at Dublin Zoo this week. This includes some baby meerkats and three baby elephants are set to arrive soon.
The giraffe pictured below was born 3 weeks ago in the African Plains section of the zoo. He's been introduced to other animals over the past few weeks - all except the zebras.
He doesn't have a name yet but the zoo are leaving that up to the children who visit. They're going to be given the chance to research and choose an African name for the newborn.
Another baby giraffe is expected to be born in October.
