2013 has been an eventful year for Dublin, Ireland and the world.

From the city's water shortages, to the salary top-up scandal, to the Boston Marathon Bombing.

John Gilligan was released from prison this year, Dublin Bus drivers went on strike, and authorities were left stumped when a mystery girl was outside the GPO.

The Peru 2 were jailed, Brian O'Driscoll was dropped for the third British and Irish Lions Test, and Pat Kenny jumped ship.
