Gardai are investigating a robbery at a hotel in Lucan yesterday.
The armed raid on the Finnstown Castle Hotel on the Newcastle Road, took place at around ten past four yesterday morning.
Two men, one armed with a gun, broke into the premises and threatened a member of staff.
The raiders made off with a sum of cash in a silver audi.
It's the second time in the space of 18 months that the hotel has been robbed although a link between the two incidents has not been established.
Seperately in May of last year a large bomb was discovered in a car on the premises which forced the evacuation of a wedding.
