Ger Wilkes, from Malahide in Dublin has won this year's men's Liffey Swim, while Rachel Lee, a paramedic with Dublin Fire Brigade, came first in the women's race.
In total 257 men and 111 women took part in the 95th annual Liffey Swim today.
Entrants must be a member of a swimming club to undertake the 2.2 km swim in one of the country's most iconic rivers.
