AirBnB says it's working on ways to overcome a tax issue, which sees Irish hosts liable if they put up visitors.
The number of hosts in Ireland has doubled every year since 2010, with the company now looking at tax incentives for users.
The company - which has its European HQ in Dublin says over 330,000 people from all over the world have stayed in homes across Ireland.
A new report suggests that AirBnB visits were worth 202 million euro to the economy with guests spending an average of 561 euro each.
