The Audi Dublin International Film Festival kicks off today.
Over the next 11 days, those attending the festival can watch up to 100 films from 27 countries.
This year's line-up promises an array of the finest independent films from John Carney's Sing Street to Paddy Breathnach's highly anticipated Viva and Rebecca Daly's 'Mammal' starring Rachel Griffiths.
Festival Director Grainne Humphreys outlines some of the other highlights;
'Angela Lansbury will be dropping in for a chat in the Bord Gáis. We also have Zootropolis, which is the new initiative to try and bring younger audiences into the festival. 'We have had a very exciting response to our call to the people who took part in 20 years ago to come back and see it again on the big screen.'
