Workers at Ireland's 999 call centres have voted in favour of strike action. The 12 hour work stoppage is expected to take place before the election.
Conduit Global which runs the service has slammed the Communication Workers' Union. Bosses say they've improved working conditions for staff. They also say they're putting contingency plans in place.
