The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with extensive broadcasting and reporting experience covering crime and the courts.
An indepth knowledge of libel law is essential.
The right person for the job will have an enviable contacts book, make court stories appeal to a Dublin audience and generate their own crime related content.
Social media skills including video literacy and a third level media qualification will be a distinct advantage.
