A new student residence was launched last night in The Liberties.
Housing 400 students, the Uninest New Mill was fully booked prior to opening tomorrow.
The student accommodation was completed by Global Student Accommodation (GSA) and cost €41 million.
The housing is ideally situated for students studying at Trinity College Dublin, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and many of the DIT campuses.
There is also space on site for shops and restaurants to open in the future.
Further GSA developments for students are on the way. with a 269 residence being built next to Uninest New Mill.
The construction of the additional development is expected to create approximately 250 jobs throughout construction, with a further five full-time positions becoming available upon completion in 2018.
GSA already owns student accommodation in Broadstone Hall providing 101 students beds. They also have plans to provide student accommodation near O'Connell Street in the next month and near Smithfield in 2018.
