More than 30,000 homes are set to be built in Dublin and its commuter belts.

There are also proposals to develop more office and apartment blocks.

According to the Irish Daily Mail NAMA plans to have 4,500 homes built before the end of next year, and it's believed planning permission is currently being sought for another 5,500 units.

There are also plans to build a further 25,000 houses in Dublin's surrounding areas and commuter belts - including Meath, Louth and Wicklow.

NAMA is also believed to be seeking plans to build the biggest ever city entre office block in Dublin's Docklands area, which would include 165 apartments, a large hotel, and almost 50,000 square feet of office space.
