30 people are dead after Islamist militants carried out a terror attack on a hotel and restaurant in the west African state of Burkina Faso.
The attack happened around the Hotel Splendid area in the capital, Ouagadougou.
Troops backed by the French military attempted to secure the site.
63 hostages were freed after security forces stormed the hotel.
The same group behind a similar assault in November say they carried out the attack - it's believed they're militants linked to Al Qaeda.
