3 Ireland is to hike monthly phone bills by 25 percent.
Thousand of customers will be affected by the move as it tries to even out pricing differences with O2 bills.

The increase will apply to bill pay consumers on sim only deals from June.
The monthly hike is from 20 euro 33 cent to 25 euro 41.
The operator may also scale back some mobile data allowances for prepaid users next month.
