150 new jobs are on the way to Dublin.
SAS Software is opening a new sales and customer services centre in the Capital.
The 40 million euro investment will see customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa served initially from the Nexus UCD facility in Belfield.
The new jobs will include multi-lingual business development and sales specialists, data scientists and software engineers.
Making the announcement earlier this morning, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said "I'm delighted to see this investment decision come to fruition. Through the Action Plan For Jobs, the Government will continue to support the technology sector by investing the right education and research programmes to ensure Irelands ongoing success as a technology hub in Europe."
