If ever there was someone to cover the verses in Parklife 😂

Robbie Williams was performing at Hyde Park in London over the weekend, and fans were shocked and delighted when he brought an Eastenders legend out on stage.

The 50-year-old singer had already treated his fans to the full back catalogue of his hits when he introduced Danny Dyer on stage and the pair of them did a cover of Blur's mega hit Parklife.

The original tune features Phil Daniels, also an Eastenders alum, who's distinctive accent on the spoken word verses is very similar to that of Danny Dyer's.

So he was obviously the perfect choice to get on the cover!

"It’s the double act you didn’t know you needed in your life," Robbie quipped as Danny joined him on stage.

The singer also treated gig-goers to a cover of Oasis' hit Don't Look Back In Anger, as well as some Take That favourites, including Back for Good and Could It Be Magic.

During the gig, Robbie got emotional and reflected on his struggles over the years.

"At 50, I’m still here and I’m extremely grateful… tonight I was the happiest and most chilled I have ever been coming on stage," the singer said.

'Maybe it was England [winning], maybe it was you guys, but I’m really f****** happy… Thank you for helping me remain on the planet. I love you guys."
