Mark Feehily has announced that he's sadly had to pull out of Westlife's upcoming tour this summer - on doctor's orders!

The Sligo singer took to Instagram to tell fans that he won't be joining his bandmates on the summer leg of their Wild Dreams tour as he's set for surgery next week.

As disappointed as they must have been, the comment section was filled with nothing but support and best wishes for Mark.

The comments section saw Mark's loyal fans and famous friends send their support as they wished him well for his impending medical procedure.

One fan wrote: "Speedy recovery Mark 🥰 and as much as I missed you in the 3 arena in December the boys did a fantastic job
Nobody will he disappointed with their performances!! They will smash it on your behalf, get well soon, your health is your priority 💙💙💙"

He also got a lot of love from his bandmates and Jedward.

"Sending strength ❤️ you got this Mark surrounding u with healing energy and bravery! You’ll be back stronger than ever"

The news arrives after Mark revealed in December that he was diagnosed by doctors with pneumonia, causing him to miss a number of major gigs with his band.

Following several months of health struggles, Mark is hoping to return to the stage in November for Westlife's final tour dates of the tour in South Africa.
