Holidays are coming!
The first trailer for Netflix’s Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is out ahead of its release next month.
The musical film is set in the town of Cobbleton and follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle, played by Forest Whitaker.
But when his trusted apprentice steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter and a long-forgotten invention to heal old wounds.
The movie features original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence and Davy Nathan, and also stars Ricky Martin, Phylicia Rashad, and Anika Noni Rose.
Twenty years in the making
Director David E. Talbert, who previously worked on Almost Christmas, posted the pictures on Instagram and wrote:
“Twenty years in the making… excited to share first look photos of my new film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey – Netflix’s first original live-action musical.”
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey will be released globally by Netflix on November 13.
