Motorcyclist Dies In Two-Vehicle Crash In Lucan

A man has died following a crash in Lucan in Dublin.

The two-vehicle collision happened on the R136 at approximately 8.25pm last night. A car and a motorbike collided, injuring a man in his 20s.

The motorcyclist was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. A post mortem is due to take place on his body.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

An examination of the scene by Forensic Collision Investigators has since concluded and Gardaí are appealing to witnesses to come forward, particularly those with dash cam footage.
