Met Eireann Predict Lows Of -4 This Week

Temperatures are set to drop to -4 this week in parts of Ireland, according to Met Eireann.

Tuesday night is expected to be the coolest. The forecaster says it'll be a dry and clear night "with a sharp to severe frost".

"Winds will fall light southwesterly or variable and temperatures are expected to reach as low as minus 4 degrees inland", Met Eireann stated.

Dublin Forecast

Monday

Monday will be a cold day with a moderate to fresh westerly winds.

Sunshine and showers are both forecast with the showers becoming most frequent in the afternoon.

They could turn more wintry at times with a risk of hail or thunder. Highs of just 5 or 6 degrees in the afternoon.

Tuesday 

Ice and frost will slowly clear as temperatures rise to 6 or 7 degrees. Some isolated showers are forecast in the morning, becoming more frequent in the afternoon.
